Each year, the Broken Bow Chamber of Commerce has an annual banquet where area businesses, their owners and employees attend to help honor other Chamber-member businesses and honorees.  Businesses are recognized for milestone anniversaries.  Several community individuals, as well as businesses/organizations are honored for being outstanding in their respective categories. 

On March 11, 2023, Nebraska State Bank was honored in several different ways: 

NSB was nominated in the category of “Excellence in Customer Service for a Business.”  NSB Universal Banker Amber Rynearson and her husband Jason, and NSB President/CEO Stuart Fox all received the honor of nomination for the “Citizen of the Year” award. 

The pinnacle of the evening occurred when Nebraska State Bank received the distinction of Broken Bow Chamber of Commerce “Business of the Year.”  Several NSB officers and employees were in attendance to receive the award.
